An Ile-Ife Magistrates’ Court docket in Osun, on Friday, remanded one Victor Jorma, 24, over alleged theft of a Techno Camon-11 cell phone.
The Prosecutor, Insp. Elijah Adesina, instructed the court docket that the defendant dedicated the offence on Feb. 21, round 8.30 pm. at “O ti Seese Cool Spot”, Ilesa Highway, Ile-Ife.
Adesina stated that the defendant entered into the place with the intent to commit felony therein.
He added that the defendant stole one Techno Camon 11 cell phone, valued at N44,000, property of 1 Afolabi Olamilekan.
In line with him, the offences contravene Sections 383, 390(9) and 411 of the Legal Code, Legal guidelines of Osun, 2002.
The defendant, who was not legally represented, pleaded not responsible to the two-count cost, bordering on felony and stealing.
The Justice of the Peace, Bose Idowu, didn’t grant bail to the defendant.
She ordered that the defendant be remanded in a custodial centre and, thereafter, adjourned the case until March 6, for listening to.
