Dora had affair with Obasanjo — Kemi Olunloyo claims

Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has continued to make wild allegations involving top personalities. Her latest victim is late Dora Nkem Akunyili, a former Director-General of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).

Kemi Olunloyo claims that the respected and internationally recognized Dora Akunyili had an intimate affair with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Trouble started when Kemi’s Twitter follower scolded her for displaying awards publicly. The user urged her to always emulate the late Dora Akunyili who despite all her awards did not flaunt them to the public.

The Twitter user said, “Just 19 awards and you won’t let us hear a word. Late Mrs. Dora Akunyili bagged over 900 Awards yet she never claimed to be the most intelligent woman in Nigeria. Maybe you’re only the most intelligent Yoruba girl las las.. Be Humble aunty!”

In her response, Kemi took a swipe at the late NAFDAC boss, claiming that she was not intelligent and that she had an affair with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Kemi wrote, “Dora Akunyili was not Intelligent. The media war I had in 2006 with her shows how she was part of those who ruined Nigeria. I exposed her sleeping with Obasanjo, doctoring the Pfizer report, regulating pure water, and collecting awards for lobby’s.”

Continuing, Kemi added, “Dora Akunyili is why US Pharmacists cannot practice in Nigeria, She fought Onitsha medicine sellers instead of regulating the profession of Pharmacy. She is the cause of self-medication overdoses.”

But the majority of commenters do not agree with Kemi’s assertion.

Someone wrote, “She [Dora] is the only reason why pharmacists are close to been recognized in Nigeria. It doesn’t matter where she took her fight. She created a lasting impression. Certified things that people consume ignorantly before. What impact have you [Kemi] made other than announce death here & there.”
